Who Haunts the Fort?: Known Deaths and Burials at Mobile Point
October 18 & 21

Fort Morgan State Historic Site, Gulf Shores, Alabama

What better way to prepare for Halloween than a tour at night through a historic fortress!  A uniformed guide will lead you on a journey through history to learn about the Fort and the tragic events that occurred there from 1813-1910.

Spots for this one-hour tour are limited and advance tickets are required. This tour is limited to 100 participants. Tickets must be pre-purchased. This tour is recommended for ages 12 and up.

Please remember to bring your flashlight and dress for current weather conditions.
Weather conditions may cause an event to be cancelled. Information will be posted to website and Facebook. Event will not be rescheduled if cancelled.

Directions: Fort Morgan is at the western end of Hwy 180, 22 miles west of Hwy 59 in Gulf Shores. You can also reach the site from Dauphin Island by riding the Mobile Bay Ferry.

Fee: $12.00 per person

Conveniently located near Fort Morgan beach houses, the "Guardian on the Bay" has an active living history program, which puts on a number of events throughout the year, including an annual reenactment of the fort's famous Battle of Mobile Bay during the Civil War. During June and July, families can enjoy Evening Tours of the fort. The Alabama Historical Commission owns and operates this historic site.
