Do you have a Cahawba Ancestor?

If you have an antebellum ancestor who lived at Cahawba or was imprisoned in the Cahaba Prison (also called Castle Morgan) as a captured Union soldier, the Old Cahawba site director might have information for you.

Just drop her a note requesting a search of her research files. Be sure to include your return address, ancestor's name, and as much additional information as possible. Be patient, however, since inquiries will be answered on a first come, first served basis.
