Old Cahawba Kicks Off Holiday Season with 'Christmas, Crafts, and Cookies' Event


Old Cahawba Archaeological Park will be hosting its annual “Christmas, Crafts, and Cookies” event on Saturday, December 3, from 10-11 a.m. Visitors will experience how the townspeople of Cahawba celebrated the holiday season and will get to make a Christmas ornament. Complimentary refreshments will be provided and all age groups are welcome.
Visitors will also have the opportunity to shop at Old Cahawba’s gift shop and find a unique Christmas gift such as old-fashioned candy and stocking stuffers.
Tickets are $8 each and can be purchased at the visitor center or by calling 334-872-8058. On the day of the event, participants will meet at the Visitor Center, rain or shine. Get ready to celebrate Christmas at Old Cahawba!
